Zoom is still good videos in the audience (and a whole series of recent video DSLR segment) because of his murderess H4n Handy Recorder that X / Y stereo condenser microphones, 4-channel recording, as well as two XLR inputs known, with additional features. The only real disappointment with the H4n is the price of $ 300.
Introduction to the H1. And it's only $ 99!
While the H4n like a bargain for those who may require professional audio results are described, is a bit 'ofReach for the majority of fans. The $ 99 H1 should take care of this dilemma. Even though the H1 is not the man of the bells and whistles of a H4n, it will take your $ 100 for a heck of a journey with the same pair of X / Y microphone, recording WAV 96kHz/48kHz/44.1kHz 16 - bit or 24-bit, plus 10 hours of recording with a single AA battery.
There was no XLR inputs, but you can add an external microphone with an "input 1 / 8. This should be a correct implementation with a shotgun microphone on top of your RebelT2i digital SLR camera or an extra.
To increase the maximum recording time, you can simply turn off the classic recording PCM MP3 to save space. Thanks to USB 2.0 is a rapid exchange of data with the PC without problems. In terms of performance H1 zoom is still very modest: three times with a battery of a mobile is the recorder more than 10 hours.
